History: This trade card was originally found in an antique scrapbook of someone who lived in Derby Center, Vermont.
The mini paper card features a brown duck in water facing right. It has creases and ink/paper loss in small areas.
Condition of the card: The glue they used to attach the card to the page was not water soluble (I tried soaking one from the book to see). I have cut the card out of the scrapbook but left the scrapbook page on the back. So know that the reverse image shows the scrapbook paper and not the condition of the back of the card. The scrapbook paper might even have another card image glued to it that was sacrificed as one card was better than the other on double sided pages. The card will have glue on the back but most likely also writing pertaining to the company making the card but I cannot show you.
